This November, YOU can join the world's largest teen game jam. Yes, you! It doesn’t matter if you have years of experience, or just learned what they are today.

You’ll join thousands of teens making games from all around the world. Don't consider yourself a game dev? No problem - we have tons of workshops for you to make your game!

This is your chance to learn something new, meet new friends, andgo on an incredible adventure together!

Here is how you can join a game jam this November!

What happens in Peshawar?

Saturday

  1. 8:00 am Doors open & check in Grab a badge, a sticker and a bagel.
  2. 9:15 am Opening ceremony What a game jam is and how the weekend works.
  3. 10:30 am Beginner workshop Ship your first playable scene in Godot.
  4. 12:30 pm Lunch Pizzas and Drinks!.
  5. 3:00 pm More Lock-in Locking in :D
  6. 6:30 pm Demos so far Show whatever is on screen, bugs included.
  7. 8:00 pm Doors close Head home, sleep, come back tomorrow.

Sunday

  1. 8:00 am Doors open Coffee, cocoa and last-minute debugging.
  2. 1:00 pm Submissions due Upload your build to itch.io.
  3. 2:00 pm Playtesting Period Wander the room and try every table.
  4. 4:00 pm Prize Ceremony Awards, group photo, and the fun part!
  5. 8:00 pm Goodbyes! photo sessions and goodbyes to an awesome adventure, see ya next time!

  • Am I eligible?

    If you’re age 13-18, you’re eligible! No prior experience required.

  • But I’ve never coded before!

    Perfect! Game jams are designed for beginners. You’ll have workshops, mentors, and teammates to help you every step of the way.

  • I still have questions!

  • Is this free?

    Yes! Haven Peshawar is completely free to attend for teens 13-18, funded by Hack Club, a non-profit helping teens to code their first ever tech project!

  • What if my parents are concerned?

  • Can I join an organizing team?

    Of course! Many cities have organizing teams. Reach out to organizers in your area or apply to join an existing team.
